I recently shot a wedding at a gorgeous venue near me called Quiet Meadow Farms. The venue is located in Mapleton, Utah. As much as I love traveling, especially to my beloved Pacific Northwest for elopements, I loved getting to shoot this lovely couple’s big day so close to home!

As soon as I showed up and started to document the setting for this ceremony, I knew I needed to do a sort of vendor spotlight on this venue to keep a record for myself and for future brides to see all the amazing features Quiet Meadow Farms offers!

It’s really important to me that I’m able to offer my clients insight beyond their photography needs and my services. I love getting to know other vendors and locations in my area (and other areas I frequently shoot in!) so I can provide detailed insight and advice relevant to their wedding style and dreams.

One of my favorite things about Quiet Meadow Farms is simply its geographical location. The position of the structure and the backdrop for ceremonies offer amazing views of the valley because it’s right next to the mountain. It feels secluded, without being isolated. It’s really not far from things and is really accessible, but I love how being close to the mountain helps it feel a bit more private and peaceful. Also, it’s right next to a super pretty orchard that was amazing to take photos by!

Typically, I think brides will get the best setup by holding the ceremony outside right next to the mountain with the orchard behind it (again, an amazing backdrop for ceremonies). There is plenty of space for guests and lots of little areas both inside and outside that would be great for setting up decor and displays, or even lawn games like Spikeball and Cornhole for the reception guests!

Holding the wedding at this venue allows you to stay in one location for the whole day as there is plenty of space for the ceremony outside, and then dinner inside with the beautiful decor and setup, and then back outside for an evening reception. Their facility is decorated so beautifully from the start, which means brides don’t have to stress about bringing in too much extra to keep the venue from looking bare or plain.

Okay, I know I have lots of favorite things about this venue, but the final “favorite” thing I’ll share is the cute little dance patio behind the big barn doors. They have twinkle lights so you don’t have to dance the night away in the dark, and the effect is simply stunning, resulting in such gorgeous photos! I know not everyone is considering the venue from the photography standpoint and perspective that I claim, but the photos are what will last and bolster your memories from your big day, so it can be really beneficial to host the event at a beautiful venue like Quiet Meadow Farms in Mapleton, Utah to get those picture-perfect setups.

Are you planning a wedding in northern Utah soon? I’d love to chat with you and see if we could be a good fit! Shoot me a message or follow me on Instagram to see more of my work!
