Cannon Beach, Oregon Elopement [Oregon Elopement Photographer]

M&C had never been to Oregon or the coast before and wanted to do an elopement at Cannon Beach. We got up early to be there before sunrise. It was definitely chilly but there weren’t very many people around and with such a huge beach, we had plenty of space to ourselves, making it nice and secluded and quiet. The only sound was the seagulls and the crashing waves, which really sets a mood. It ended up being a sunny day so once the sun went up, it started reflecting on the wet beach creating a really pretty reflective look. M had a gorgeous gown with a sheer back and C had nice suit pants and a white shirt, which was perfect for the beach look. They both even went barefoot. I love how carefree and fun they looked and felt.

  1. The Oregon coast is one of my favorite places to do photos because it’s not just the ocean, there are the sea stacks and it often has a more overcast look. I love the drizzle of rain you often get in Oregon. I 100% recommend eloping on the Oregon coast because there are so many places all along the coast with so much beauty. Cannon Beach is more popular (and for good reason) but there are beaches all along the coast with sea stacks and evergreen trees and crashing waves that create such a moody vibe and such a romantic feel.
